Roseville Golf club has an excellent and enthusiastic team of PGA qualified professionals available 7 days a week for golf lessons, including a Mandarin speaking PGA professional.

Scott Spence – PGA Head Professional

A strongly motivated PGA Golf Professional with over 10 years experience managing golf operations, Scott offers a wealth of knowledge and understanding across multiple member service environments including driving ranges, private business and golf clubs. He is a dual member of both the PGA’s of Australia and Great Britain & Ireland which has provided him with a wide and varied education on both Operational and Coaching aspects of the game. Scott grew up in and around St Andrews, Scotland. Gaining his first official 18 hole handicap at the age of 7 it would be fair to say he has lived and breathed the game of golf his entire life.

Scott believes in an individual approach to coaching and looks to get the best out of a players golf swing by working with their physical attributes. Put together with the latest launch monitor information Scott believes not only will he help you score better, but he’ll improve your overall enjoyment and understanding of this great game.

Peter Headland – PGA Teaching Professional

Peter has enjoyed a successful golfing career, he has been a professional since 1976. In this time he has won 62 tournaments and a highlight of his career was being a past Director of NSW PGA. Peter has played tours of Australasia, Europe and Asia, competing with and against the world’s best players. Having always been interested in teaching, Peter spent many years with the best teachers including Alex Mercer (Australia), John Jacobs (UK), David Leadbetter, Ben Doyle, Greg McHatton, Mike O’Grady and Brian Manzella (USA).

He still attends teaching summits keeping abreast with latest developments in coaching and would like to help you with your golf.

Jean-Baptiste Gesnouin (JB) – PGA Teaching Professional

A French PGA teaching professional since 2011, JB has played golf ever since he was 10 years old and it has always been his passion. He has traveled and worked in golf clubs in France, Portugal, New Zealand and Australia since 2007. JB offers individual and group lessons for all ages and levels as young as 5 years old, beginners to an advanced class. Whilst in Australia he is also studying fitness to become a Personal Trainer, specializing in golf.

For his individual clients, JB uses video (V1 golf) to help them visualize their fundamentals (grip, posture and aiming) and the consequences they have on their swing. He believes in a simple approach to any golfer, and that anyone undertaking tuition with him should be able to understand what he needs to correct to achieve a performant and recurrent swing, and execute it within his physical attributes.

JB is available for individual tuition on every weekday. On Sundays, you will see him coaching Roseville juniors in the morning, and working in the pro shop during the afternoon.

Min-Chien Cheng – Assistant PGA Teaching Professional (Mandarin Speaker)

Assistant PGA Teaching Professional at Roseville Golf Club since April 2017. Min is from the Central West town of Orange and completed his traineeship at Duntryleague Golf Club and is available to teach golf lessons in Mandarin. He is also an experienced;

Min’s passion for the game came when he first hit a ball on the range and immediately fell in love with golf. Now following his career in the golf industry as a professional, he is motivated to help golfers improve all aspects of their game and achieving their goals.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Roseville Golf Club requires at minimum 24 hours notice to be given for any lesson or clinic cancellation. If you cancel within 24 hours or do not attend a booked appointment we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee equal to the lesson fee. In the case of prepaid lessons, the lesson will be forfeited. Refunds will be provided for cancellations prior to the 24 hour appointment window.
