Our swing room has two fixed video cameras which can simultaneously capture a face on and down the line video image of your swing.  Because our cameras are fixed they ensure results can be compared in the future and there is no time lost in setting up the equipment. Most golf Pro's in Sydney will try to convince you a video lesson will take one hour. At Roseville due to our higher invesment in technology you can have a very productive video lesson in half an hour (thats half the price). We can also compare your swing to many touring Proffesionals to help demonstrate where you need to improve.  At the end of the lesson a CD can be provided of your swing which can be viewed at the office or at home through the free GASP Silver Lite Video Software.

Once you have downloaded and installed GASP Silver Lite, insert your CD, click on the camera and select import from sudent CD. Then click on the folder and search for your surname under the student folders.

 

 The Golf Achiever Laser Launch Monitor

Roseville Golf Club now has a purpose built laser swing analysis facilty to help improve your golf.  The heart of the facilty is the Golf Achiever which can display the following information on the hitting screen after each shot.

• Launch Angle:  2 to 65 degrees
• Maximum Height
• Backspin RPM and Sidespin RPM
• Ball Speed:  5 mph to 250 mph
• Club head speed:  5 mph to 250 mph
• Face impact position:  toe, centre or heel
• Face angle at impact:  -10 degrees closed to +10 degrees open
• Lie angle at impact:  toe, mid toe, centre, mid heel and heel
• Swing path:  outside in -20 degrees to inside out +20 degrees

 

When our experienced PGA staff are advising changes to your swing it is a great benefit to see if you are making progress.  For example a common problem for golfers is to swing outside to in which robs them of power and produces pulled or sliced shots.  The Golf Achiever will provide instant feedback with regard to swing path changes.
